...is struggling with the same Montana team that nearly beat Boise. Down 2 with 2 minutes.

New Mexico handled NM State and CSU beat UTEP who beat NM State. We had better bring it come conference.

Sweet Jesus, 21 TOs for Cal. A quick glance at the box score seems to indicate that is their problem in this game. Is Montana a pressing team or is Cal just having a bad day?

Probably a little of both. San Fransisco just beat Montana by 22 I believe and then San Fransisco went to CU tonight and lost by 17. Just don't know what you will get from a team from one night to the next.

I hope Cal turns it over that much when we play them.

I just looked into this. Cal was without one of their top starting guards Jabari Bird. Safe to say they are different team without him. Maybe we focus in on him a little more after seeing this.

I watched part of the game. Didn't realize they were without their top player. They looked like absolute crap. Selfish offense. They stand around waiting for the ball. They play sloppy defense and chase the guy with the ball around.
If the game was in laramie we would whoop them, without a doubt. I think we still get the win in berkley.

NM plays nmst two times a year, they know how to handle them.
This is still the same NM team that lost to usc who lost to Portland State.

CSU is good but I dont think the whole "they beat utep who beat nm state who we struggled with" thing really applies.

Obviously we better bring it in mwc play but I don't see the mwc being a total slaughter house like 2 seasons ago.

UTEP is a very good team under Tim Floyd.

The MWC may not have multiple national contenders like it has in the past like having 3 top 15 teams. But between Wyoming, UNM, CSU, Boise, UNLV, and of course SDSU, there are some very tough teams

With Bird, they beat Syracuse in MSG by 14 (IOW, a virtual road game). They will be very tough.

Syracuse isn't all that special this season. They are good but not great. 5-2. Beat a good iowa team, lost to cal and michigan, and have beaten a bunch of nobodies. Not really impressed with them.

Plus, Adams will be able to lock down any defender he plays this season.
