BYU to Vegas, Utah to Pointsettia

touggh games for both teams

No kidding BYU will have their hands full with Oregon St. and Utah/Cal will be no cupcake either. But hey if they win both it goes a long way towards continuing to cement the MWC as a big time conference worthy of BCS consideration.

Most important thing will be to try and keep three MWC teams in rankings. Especially for TCU.

Once all the crying over 'getting jobbed' dies down, I think you will see a very guarded smile on Gary P's face. TCU returns a hell of a lot of talent next year. If they wallop BSU in the bowl, and the other AQ teams put in some less than stellar performances, it will go a long way to help lock-in a very high pre-season ranking next year for the Frogs. BSU also returns a ton of talent and should be better next year than this one.

Bottom line, the road to next year's National Championship will probably be a little easier for both of these teams.

If Utah wins, they also may be a contender due to their returning talent.

I think BYU takes a hit based on all the starters they will lose.

Here's to hoping we go 5-0 in the bowls.

Isn't that usually the case with BYU though? I think they're usually one of the oldest teams in the country each season. 5-0 would certainly look sweet....wins over Fresno St., Houston, Oregon St., California, and Boise State. That would certainly be impressive to say the least.
