It will be interesting to see who they bring in. Already some drama on Twitter that Stacey Augmon (from his wife) wasn't given a shot. If unlv wants to succeed they should probably get someone from outside to refresh that place.

I don't know that they need to refresh it. They have talent. Elite talent.

Why start completely new? Why not just get someone worth a damn?

I mean let's be real, UNLV doesn't need Coach K or Roy Williams or Tark to win. They don't even need Larry Shyatt or Steve Fischer.

They need someone who isn't going to just sit there and let the guys play a pick-up game style of offense.
Just someone worth a damn.

Talent is there, coaching doesn't need to be great, and they will be back in the Dance and at the top of the MWC.

I'm sure that will play out well with Simon and Augmon now. His wife sure knows how to keep things running smoothly for the coaching staff that's left.

This team is going to implode the rest of the year. Doubt any of the players listen to anything any of them say.

UNLV is so talented they don't need an elite coach to win in the MWC.

Simple as that.

With a budget the size of UNLV's - and what are the best facilities in the MWC (and rivaling any of those in the western US frankly) - it is shocking to me they can't get their shit together...going on 25 years now.
