Buzzing around Twitter today about Utah State on the move

BobcatReport.com is reporting that Utah State could be MWC bound. BR broke the news on UTA going to the WAC.

Where would they go? Really, there's only 2 places. Indy, but they don't have the resources, or FCS, which would kill their already historically bad program. Unless they recieved a MWC invite without anyone else learning about it, that's about all the places they can go.
 
Craig Thompson stated only a month ago that no expansion is expected this summer. And if there is, its certainly not freaking Utah State. Seems borderline moronic considering we might gain some Big 12 leftovers next summer.

He said "expected." I know a lot of people expected the Big 12 to last at least a few more years, but with the rumblings going right now, not many people thought it would only be a little over a year before it all this would start up again.
 
Sounds to me a lot of wishful thinking by the Aggies. There's no way the MWC accepts them into the League after the stunt they pulled with BYU. They didn't burn that bridge, they blew it to hell up!

If we're going to add to the conference, why in the hell would we add Utah State? They provide nothing - except a smaller piece of the pie for each MWC school. I suppose an argument could be made for a Utah footprint, but they play third fiddle at least. Bad move, especially with some Big 12 leftovers stacking up.
