Brown and/or Gold Out

So has anyone ever approached the athletics department on having a brown or gold out? Everyone wears gold and turns the stadium that color? Do they do this in Laramie? We do it here in Missoula with the maroon. VaTech does it with black, Nebraska does it every game with red. I'm reading a thread over on CougarBlue right now and they seem to be having trouble getting people to wear blue because of the "Abercrombie sporting a-holes." Amusing thread, but they're trying like hell to build some spirit and community within the stadium, but are having a tough time getting through the administration nonsense.

The first 10,000 people into the UVA game get a yellow shirt that says gameday gold on it. Did you see the WNIT championship?

I did.. it was impressive. However, I think it needs to be stadium wide for it to be the most effective.
