Honestly, I never make predictions, and sure didn't on this game.
My original post was at the end of the third quarter, and what a roller coaster it was during the 4th.
You guys have a GREAT team all around. My thoughts on Brett also apply to virtually every phase of the game. The only shining spots for Nebraska didn't shine all that bright, not to take anything from the Cowboys. Our interception may have been the single play that kept us from losing, and possibly losing badly. That this was Brett's first interception in 180-some completions is remarkable.
As far as the other braggarts and gloaters that may have been around, sorry about them. Every team has a few, and a couple of them can talk louder than hundreds of the rest of us. And when you have the history NU has, well, it just magnifies the idiots, especially those who feel entitled by history, though they personally have never been in Memorial Stadium Lincoln, or done anything more than buy a game ticket (if even that).
I hope to see Wyoming go on a huge roll. Maybe later in the year, as Wyoming nears the top 10, this game will look better for Nebraska. I hope so, anyway. On the other hand, we may be completely dismantled by UCLA in a few weeks.
Have a great season!
