Sadly, this loss guarantees Wyoming basketball will have another losing conference season making it 18 of the last 23 years and the 15th in 19 seasons with Burman as the AD.
The NIL and transfer portal is not a valid excuse because it’s not been around as it is now for 19 years like Burman has.

We will not see Boise, SDSU, Utah State much if ever again. In an odd quirk San Diego State and Wyoming have played in the same league for 46 years. They have little in common, yet have been in the same league for that long.

I'm old enough to remember when Utah and Byu were in our league. And now, it seems our conference will be really insignificant. The PAC 12 gets Gonzaga and we get UC-Davis, UTEP, and Hawaii. Makes me sad to see us drifting toward total anonymity in the college sports landscape.
We don't matter anymore...unfortunately...I don't get what D1 means anymore
