Watching Boise destroy USU. I cant help but think if we had an offense ranked at 100 we would have destroyed USU. Boise is exploiting the edges, which we could have done if we weren't so damn committed to running between the tackles 30 times a game.

I was thinking this exact same thing :|

Having said that, I think we'd beat usu 8 or 9 times out of 10 this year. Still can't believe we lost to them

Extra sickening that we lost with 7 points coming from defense on that game.

If we had two servicable running backs we would have beat USU. If we hadn't turned the ball over 4 times (3 picks?), we wouldn't have lost to USU.

The offense is what it is....but we are really thin at RB (Valladay has/had very little help). And we are down a 10-2 starting QB.

Levi looked like he is a QB who can run this system however. Strong, decent runner, 2-2 completions. He looked good.
