Boise St losing McAlister to portal

Sucks for them. If Boise is not apart from all this no one is. Kinda feels good it’s not us for once

Ill always be cautious the end of every season. I think with Waylee transferring here he may be safe, but………we’re certainly not immune.

I think after your first transfer you then have to sit out a year if you transfer again. So although Waylee could transfer again he would have to sit out a year if he decided to do so, I agree that we are probably pretty safe from him transferring. Who knows on other players though
 
No longer are players sitting out games just to protect themselves for the NFL, they are now sitting out games to protect themselves for their next college NIL deal and new college team.

Josh Allen played in a relatively meaningless potato bowl. He showed he actually cares about his teammates.
 
Is he done for the season?

We need Boise to lay some eggs here towards the end of the schedule.
 
My guess is he already has a "offer" under the table and wants to enter the portal early to get a feel for what else might be available. We may see more of this happening throughout college sports until some of the kinks get worked out of the system.

Read a few articles online about him since I first posted. They definitely indicate he had offers already. What struck me was how similar it sounded to Wyoming losing Nayor.

The transfer portal system is broken. So is NIL. It will get fixed someday, but the damage has been done in a lot of ways.
 
Jerk couldn't enter the portal a game earlier? Lets get some odds out there for his ultimate destination. I"m saying Washington has some cash for him right now.

My money would be on one of the Texas schools. Most likely A&M.
