Big Signing for Wyoming Wrestling

Trevor Jeffries from Gillette will be a Cowboy this fall. He stunned the wrestling community with a 2nd place finish at Virginia Beach Nationals as an unranked wrestler this spring!! I’m not sure the Cowboys were looking to sign him before that performance.

He will likely redshirt but has a great chance of locking up a spot in the starting lineup as a true freshman.

For a little perspective, Bryce Meredith took 5th at Virginia Beach as a senior. The tournament is widely regarded as the indisputable best folk style event in the country for high school athletes.

LOL! I was kidding, don't let your panties ride up.

I have such a deep admiration for guys who roll around on the floor with other guys. - John Bender

You apparently took the time to comment on Wyoming's best athletic program.

Define best program. We surely will differ.

Personally, I consider the best program as the one that has the largest fan base and brings in the most money. And that ain't wrasslin.

Sustained national level success. There is no debate; wrestling is currently Wyoming’s best athletic program and has been for years.
