Wait, I thought you don't want to read CST click-bait trash?

I just want to be 100% sure were on the same page here, a writer for CST can't post a link to a story on his newspapers webpage but you can post a link to a story on a competing newspapers webpage.... Am I following this correctly?

Wait, I thought you don't want to read CST click-bait trash?

I though you we're a Johnny come lately NDSU fan, moonlighting as a Wyoming fan until Craig Bohl leaves.

I don't have any problem posting links to articles that a beat writer should write. I'll click on that and encourage people to do the same.

I have a problem with the CST printing articles about issues that are designed to drive traffic through controversy(tabloid garbage). I have problems with their guy from the CST posting links to those controversial articles on this board under an alias, to generate traffic for a dying newspaper.

I'm not clicking on that.

I'm excited too as you and most fans know I'm more of a rabid bball fan, bring it on....and just had to razz ya also, don't read this trash, LOL....guess it depends on the subject you wanna read!!!! cmon Junky just razzing ya, you can punch me in the mouth on Saturday as I know you'll be there, LOL

I was actually starting to like Brandon Foster until he started writing tabloid garbage articles and posting anonymous links to them on the football board.

He didn't show his true colors until he decided to print trash about moving down to FCS with all his 22 year old life experience and ZERO understanding of the political, economic, and social climate in Wyoming.

He's just another douchebag out of stater, using the CST to get some work experience before catching the first bus out of town.

Here's a good basketball article from the Boomereagle.

Herndon has put on 15 pounds and AKA has had a good off-season.

Nope, you're stuck with me. And that comment shows just how much you've been wrong about me all this time.

It's amazing how much one has to do in order to be considered a Wyoming fan by the "true" Wyoming fans. Pretty ridiculous, actually...Almost three years of supporting multiple teams at the university and it still isn't enough.

So we've finally come to the root of the issue people have with him...it's not about what he writes, it's the fact that he wasn't born in Wyoming. Makes sense, since I've gotten the same treatment here the past three years.

You're a good fan, JVK. I like your contributions to the board

No. It's the nature of living in Wyoming your whole life. We get to see the influx of out of staters that follow every energy boom, feel the impact of them living here, and watch them leave as soon as the money drys up.

It's cyclical. People come. People leave. We stay.

The problem is when guys like Brandon Foster show up, and they think they know more than the people that live here. We already know Foster is gone at the very first opportunity he has to leave. Somehow he's an expert on Wyoming's FBS membership after spending 150 days here?

My problem with him isn't the fact that he's an out of stater. Mike Vorel was an out of stater and he's universally loved by the Wyoming fan base.

My problem is him printing controversial topics, posting links on them to places where he knows the subject isn't popular, and not having the balls to use his name instead of some alias handle. He's just trying to generate hits, and he doesn't care about the shit storm he creates while doing it, because he knows he'll be gone as soon as he has the chance.

Some out of staters stay(a lot of my best friends moved here for energy, fell in love with Wyoming, and have spent the rest of their lives here). Some of them respect the state while they're here(Mike Vorel). Some of them are just know it all dicks that leave when they get the first chance to leave.

My money is on Brandon Foster being one of the guys that thinks he knows everything about the state(from his extensive 5 months of Wyoming experience), doesn't care how many of us he pisses off while he's here, and leaves as soon as he has the chance.

The jury's still out on you, but don't blame Wyoming residents for questioning the commitment of a fan that showed up three years ago because of his love of Craig Bohl. We're pretty experienced at dealing with the transient population of Wyoming.

We'll see about Foster and we'll see about you. Don't act so surprised that people question your Wyoming loyalty when you roll into town three years ago because we hired your x coach.

Didn't Vorel leave when he got the chance?

Yeah, but he wasn't a dick while he was here, he never opened up the can of worms that Foster just did, and he still gives Wyoming love from his new job at Notre Dame.

I agree w/ Junky. Way out of line for a snot-nosed, kid first-year beat writer to come in and beat a dead horse like he did. Disrespectful. It generates nothing but bad press and fosters bad will toward the AD. Stupid as shit for the Trib to be publishing articles like that. Just plain stupid. Plus we just had a series of articles just like this last year! It's unbelievable

Yep.

We'll get to deal with the mess he makes and the people he convinces to join the "drop a division" crowd(multiple articles on the subject in less than a month), long after he leaves to take the second job he's had since he graduated.

coming from the Mizzou Journalism factory, what do you/we expect LOL I truly wonder how much the CST pays him, maybe free rent in Laramie and that's all

Someone should start one of those 2016-2017 Cowboys basketball threads. Was it Pokefan that started the one they year we won the conference title? That thread kicked ass.

Actually, I don't read the stuff I don't agree with. Stop after the first paragraph. IMHO, Fredrickson was the dick of the universe when he was around, still is. Foster, doesn't know dick about the Pokes and what I've read isn't even worth reading. But, really I don't know much anyway, and what I do know is usually pretty inconsequential. :twocents:

Agreed. Fredrickson was about the worse college graduate the CST ever hired.
