Congratulations on a well played, strong game. We were not prepared for you and you were the better team. My question is: Has Wyoming considered new uniforms? Maybe it's my distaste of the Padres old brown and yellow unis, and I know a lot of people relish in the original look. What is your opinion on new uniforms/helmets?

The uniforms the Pokes wear now aren't all that different from the original ones.

And no, the ones from the early-mid 2000s are not the original colors.

And good game.

Coach Bohl is old school when it comes to reggalia.

When he started here he said throw away all those trendy unis because we are only going to have two uniforms--home and away. He didn't go for the fashion show.

Sometimes people fuss. I personally liked when we wore brown helmets a time or two under Coach Christensen. However, the brown and yellow come from the brown-eyed-susan flower and, given the miserable re-branding fiasco of the early-2000s, I doubt that anyone will try to redefine the University of Wyoming's brand identity through school colors.

In addition, under Coach Bohl, I do not think you will see any change. The uniforms on the field were a deliberate attempt to bring back the basic look from 20-30 years ago to help reestablish continuity with old traditions. He has explicitly said that he does not like the new uniform of the week trend that has taken over college football. He is old-school that way.

Yeah, I actually like our uniforms now. We don't look like every other team and they're nice and bright.

That we're winning in them helps!

Long time Wyoming fan here. Your team looked bad and you should feel bad. Also #19 can eat a bag of dicks. It's definitely my distaste for all things San Diego, but hopefully there will be another game against Wyoming this year for you to properly prepare for a team with a winning record.

My question is: How's my ass taste? That's my opinion on changing the best uniforms in college football.

That seems like kind of an unnecessary response to somebody giving us credit. :-/

I do understand the bad blood and stuff, but... it's not like it's a BYU fan.

That said, I also hope we play them again and can prove that this game was no fluke.

Other teams' fans don't generally understand the relevance of the brown and gold. They've never been on campus in the fall and are unaware of our beautiful campus. It's ok. One day soon, college gameday will be telecast from prexy's pasture and the nation will be made to understand the beauty of Wyoming.
