Austin Conway interview with Mike Vorel,

Cowboy Junky

Wow. This kid has his head on his shoulders. It looks like we got a real leader and a great person.

I was against adding a point guard in this class, but this kid is saying all the right things. With an important group of seniors about to leave, leadership from young players will play a big role in taking the next step as a program. I can't wait to see how the rest of this class unfolds. Shyatt is building something the state of Wyoming can be proud of.

Huge get for us. Think this kid could help us land some other talent--who wouldn't want to play with a smart, athletic point guard who has his head on his shoulders. With the 2014 class, and this start on on the 2015 class, feeling pretty optimistic: Shyatt with talent, that has got to have a few MWC bball coaches sleeping pretty uneasy!

Solid interview. If Austin could help the staff land a Class of '16 Denver area prospect or two, that would be outstanding. I like this kid already.

Shyatt loves his point guards and will have no 2nd thoughts on having two on the floor at the same time when the situations arise. Some dude named Brandenburg always said the most important positions on the team were the point and the five. You have to love Nance's comment about Lieberman and some no-name, no-tradition school called Indiana also offered Conway. I'm really looking forward to seeing those two on the court. Things are looking up in the Gem City.
