Athletic Dept Email Survey on Gameday Experience at the AA

My highlights of the negative:
1) Parking is a joke. We always walk hundreds of yards to the arena past a thousand empty parking spaces.. I don't make it down there often enough to get a parking pass, and would've happily paid up to $20 to park (the price it costs to park 50 yards from the Pepsi Center) so, yet another opportunity for missed revenue.
2) Food and Beverage offerings are awful, worse than some high school games I've been to... and transitioning into the next topic:
3) Beer. I know this is a dead horse issue but I feel like the idea is gaining a little momentum. My thought process is three fold i) revenue opportunity ii) atmosphere opportunity/get more people at the arena as opposed to them going to bars or staying home iii) safety... is it safer to allow people to buy 2 beers at the area, or for people to pound beers before they go to the game, probably drive to the arena across Laramie where they can't park?

Curious as to what others mentioned in their feedback.

So...if I am understanding correctly, they (UW Athletics) sent you a survey to complete - to gather your thoughts on the game-day experience in the AA?

Hmmmmmmm

On a plus side, Landmark has been much better this year.
Much better, from not checking your ID every 15 steps to letting the student section act like a student section rather than Coe Library

Correct Peachy. Not sure off of what list they're operating from. And look I get parking is used to incentivize CJC donations for people who give more than I do, but I still don't understand how they've decided that strong arming people for a few potential donations is better than not getting any money from people wanting to park nearby on game days, kind of seems like a cutting off the nose to spite the face scenario, it's not like the CJC lots are full by any stretch. It seems like 10-20 a car to park in a non CJC lot is better than zero, our people skipping out of the game altogether because it's not worth the hassle for the product.
