I wonder what those 4 steps are, that the freshman have to go through. I hope mike gets more info on that in the next interview.

Yarbrough's gains are a big jump in itself. These cats are dropping fat, wonder what the workouts were like before?

Show up.
Grab a Mountain Dew.
Sit down on benches to discuss latest episode of "16 and Pregnant."
Point and laugh at freshmen trying to lift dumbbells in the corner.
Do another Dew.
Loudest burp contest.
Team Power Napping.
More "16 and Pregnant" discussion.
Laugh at person bringing up number of failed tackles last season.
Another Dew.
Meal Time.

Possibly the reason we saw a team quit at times? I realize everything is rah rah right now but wtf was going on before? Obviously the previous staff understood what/how was needed to optimize performance.....they don't just hire anybody off the street.

I have been extremely impressed with Duvall and his program to date, it really says something when our best defensive player gains 100 pounds on all his lifts, and is down to 7% body fat. I hope to see a change in mentality for our football team next year and at least see the team have that toughness that Bohl wants, and get to Cowboy Tough football again.

agreed, i am also impressed with what im hearing about Duval and his program. The players sounds like they are working their ass off, but completely buying in. If nothing else i expect to see a much tougher team on the field next year, which will be something positive. Several articles out there discussing the importance of the Strength coach. I think we have talented players that just havent been pushed to their potential, but it sounds like they are getting there fast with Duval. I like that they trimmed fat in the spring and are building explosiveness and strength in the summer. very, very interested to see what these guys can do come football season.

I loved the way a fatter and weaker Yarbrough played - what's he going to be like now? Also, he's still only a junior... hopefully he won't be talked into leaving early for the draft.

He's building War Daddies before they even get to Laramie... (yes, I know this is two moths old)
