I’m sorry you had to witness such a pathetic display of offense today. I think after the past two weeks, most of us were saying, “it can’t get any worse”, but somehow today proved us all wrong. I’m over this staff, yes, even our beloved former Poke, can look elsewhere at this point. What made today even more depressing was the reality of where this program goes from here. Another year not bowl eligible, the last season of the MWC as we know it, and the fact that we are living up to the mantra that the pac-stabbers have dubbed us as, “dead weight” that they’ve decided to leave behind. Did all of us that were at the War today witness the last time War Memorial will be sold out? Will the fans that Sawvel continually raves about show up next year if he’s still at the helm? What home games next year are there that draw a crowd? The two non conference games next year at home are Northern Colorado and UConn! Even if the new MWC makes it “easier to compete”, we just saw today we can’t compete with the bottom now! Man, I don’t like all of the doom and gloom, but it’s hard to ignore. Such a disappointment for a damn special day. Sorry, Josh. You deserved better today.
