Anyone Remember...

I am somewhat confused by this.

It's been a while since I've been able to attend a game in person in Laramie, but I seem to recall several times during the pregame when there was generic "hype music" being played over the stadium speakers. It wasn't just all advertisements. Can't they just replace one of these musical interludes with the W-Y-O cheer?

You would think! But I want the cheer during the actual game. It HAS to be in the first quarter

It is a great cheer.

I had a friend from the University of Arkansas visit me and attend the Virginia game in Laramie in 2007. He was shocked at how loud the W-Y-O cheer was for a stadium with “only” 30k fans in it.

We are showing our ages fellas!!! Lol...WYO used to ring thru the War and probably put doubt in our opponents at the start of the 4th Quarter, BUT our teams don't know how to use 7220 to our advantage little alone use cheers for intimidation factors...thar era is loooong gone, unfortunately
