Any news on Conway?

Not sure why everyone has such heart burn about Dino... Dude is out there grinding trying to make it happen for himself which is respectable... I can't say I love everything he says but I can respect his efforts... And he is no more a pain in the ass than any one else around here....

Agree. Plus he's put out a lot of content during this slow time of year

He was one of 3 players singled out by 'ol bohly after Wednesday's practice. So that could be a good sign.

Hats off to the kid though, instead of bailing on Wyoming athletics altogether, he found a home, and remains in Laramie. I am no coach, but he would be my kickoff and punt returner this season.

I like this idea. I cringed every time Wingard or Gentry or May had to field a kick or punt with defenders coming at them full speed. Those guys never left the field when their unit was out there, and I had no idea why the coaches thought it best to continually put them in the most vulnerable position on the most dangerous play in football. I'd much rather see a WR or sure-handed DB that's buried on the depth chart back there instead of one of our most important guys.

Wingard kinda sucked at it, anyway, imo. But it felt like DJ could have broken one at any time. Conway and DJ for kickoffs.
