Any guess on the starters after the exhibition games?

Washington, Martinez, Nance, and Gilmore will most likely be regular starters this year. Who's the other guy going to be?

McManamen, Adams, Cooke, Haldorson, and Sobey probably have the best shot of being number five at this point. I think Bentz, Grabau, and Sellers will still get some minutes. I just don't think they're as advanced as the other five guys.

Judging on today's performance(a whopping one game into the season), I like:

Another vote for this. Not sure it will necessarily happen right away in time for the next exhibition, but when the dust settles, I think this is our starting 5.

Off the bench, Cooke can step in at either the 4 or the 5 and McManamen, Grabau, and Sobey can fill in the minutes on the guard line depending on matchups.

Not sure how much time Haldorson sees this year, but I think he has a nice future. Sellers will probably only see spot duty based on foul trouble or matchup considerations.

It looks like McNanamen can shoot the ball. He had decent numbers on the trip to Canada and went 3-3 from the arc last night. It would be nice to have a 40%+ 3pt shooter on this team. Hell, I'll take 3 or 4 of those kind of guys.

I don't know if it's going to stop with McManamen. He did it in Canada. He did it in between then and now. He did it last night. The kid gets it done, he's a Wyoming native, and it seems like he has consistency. Last night I thought he was performing well just because he was playing in Ethete, Wyoming. Then I remembered that he did it in Canada. Then I remembered what I heard about his practice habits. It's early, but.... He needs to keep working hard, but I've heard that's his nature: outwork the other guy.

Josh Adams is electrifying. He'll get you out of your seat. He'll force the other coach to use a time-out early. He'll tip in the game winner during the state championship game. He'll take the ball down the lane and try and dunk on the opposing team with four seconds left and after Shy yelled, "Don't shoot it again." It's not easy to learn to temper your competitiveness. Last night was a great opportunity for him. He almost hurt himself going for a dunk, up 20, with 4 seconds left. He almost hurt his TEAMMATES by going for a dunk, up 20, with 4 seconds left.

Derek Cooke is going to get a ton of minutes this year. He takes pride in rebounding. He jumps higher then anyone on the team. He can be the shot blocker this team needs. He's just a raw gem that needs polish.

Haldorson might be the best basketball player in the freshman class. He would be better off to red shirt, but it's hard to ask a guy to red shirt when all he wants to do is play.

I still don't know what Sobey brings to the table.

Of course we are two years out, but with 3 or 4 of those guys having 2 years starting (or significant playing time) that would be a very dangerous team.
All about chemistry and that would be a whole bunch of chemistry, along with skill, and effort. God who knows maybe we are getting 10K to games consistently by then to the AA?
