Another Muhammad commits to UW

Ghaali Muhammad's little brother, Malkaam, has committed to play for UW. He was originally a UW commit, but has been playing at Western Iowa CC. Just saw this Tweeted by Ian a few minutes ago.

Played last year and is red-shirting this year so he will have 3 years of eligibility left.

Pretty sure it was his grades

It's almost always grades when a player commits to a D 1 program but ends up going the JC route first.

Who tried to transfer from a JC in New York but the transfer paperwork was held up by the NCAA. He was going to join the pokes this year but eligibility wasn't cleared by fall camp. Mazi told me at the first fall scrimage that he'll be part of the Cowboys next year.

Who tried to transfer from a JC in New York but the transfer paperwork was held up by the NCAA. He was going to join the pokes this year but eligibility wasn't cleared by fall camp. Mazi told me at the first fall scrimage that he'll be part of the Cowboys next year.

I believe his name is Ike Ogbonna. I have done some searching and that is the only other ogbonna outside of Mazi still on campus. I did find a youtube video that I think is him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkC7tZEL5U4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it's not much for quality as I think it was footage by a relative.

I watched some highlight videos, I like how he tackles good solid and wraps up no arm tackling or hitting and hoping. He also takes really good lines to the ball be it pass defense or run.
