I'm hoping they got him on the 6-square-meals a day program, because he needs to be up in the 230-240 range by the summer.
Plus, they need to get some kind of decent pass rush. During conference play, the Pokes were next to last in sacks, last in pass defense efficiency and next to last in interceptions (three in 8 games!).
I guess Stanard could come up with some exotic blitz schemes, but wouldn't it be nicer to have d-ends who could just get after a lowly tackle and make life miserable for the quarterback?
(I guess you could say the same for Prosser... but I'm thinking its easier to put weight on Granderson's 6-5 frame than Prosser's 6-2 frame)
