Wyoming Sophomore Riley Nedrow won the Tucson marathon last weekend in a time of 2:12. That's about 5 minute a mile pace. Very few college runners take on a marathon. And frankly, Riley ran the 26.2 at nearly the same pace as his best 8k CC time. I can't tell you how impressive this is. Incredible really.

Yes. It appears he is just an Aerobic monster. He is just a sophomore. And he probably will get faster. But the shorter events at the collegiate level may not fit his skill set.

That's an absolutely insane pace to keep for a marathon. To put it in perspective, that time would have put him middle of the pack in the Olympics this year.
