I knew you guys knew that - I just put that in there for those that didn't.
WYCowboy said:I believe Alex Smith got a bloody nose out of that too. Payback for the onside kick while up by 50. Oh yea, that was Wendling.

Honestly!!!!! I was thinking about posting this last night!!!! There had to be so many wyonation fans wanting to post it! But then again, I didn't, you did! Kudos!
Wendling was probably just thinking at first "make the stop" then all of a sudden "this guy embarresed MY SCHOOL and MY STATE! ENJOY YOUR BLOODY NOSE BITCH"

Wyo2dal said:Similar? seriously a horse collar running full speed vs a sliding half speed hit. I highly doubt that he intentionally hit him with his forearm. Fact of the matter is I thought it was funny being 2 previous MWC players and more so Utah vs Wyoming.
This hit was nothing compared to a horse collar, Wendling could have done some real damage on this if he wanted I believe he is trying to avoid him if he wanted to hit him he wouldn't have gone over the top of him.
You are confusing the different tackle types. On top of that when a QB is running full speed and you have already started to commit to the tackle and then they slide you can't take back what you have already started doing. This wasn't a vicious hit he got a bloody nose and finished the game not a concussion and carted off in an ambulance.
