But can he be a star? Derek Cooke is big too but I don't think any of us would say he's going to take this team on his back when the Boss graduates....

Herndon is pretty raw. I think he might need a redshirt year.

I think Cooke will be a significant contributor to this team the next two years. He will never be Leonard Washington in terms of offensive productivity, but that is setting the bar pretty high.

DC is still learning Basketball fundamentals he knows very little about the sport, I do believe he is going to be much better next season.

DC is still learning Basketball fundamentals he knows very little about the sport, I do believe he is going to be much better next season.

He's athletic and not afraid to get in the middle of things, but he needs to be polished, and with a coach like Shyatt, Cooke should be pretty good next year, as a good 1-2 punch with Nance.
 
alan herndon is not raw. he is uncoordinated right now... but both his parents played college ball. he's been playing basketball since he was in the womb.

he is very talented... long range... but im worried about this growth spurt and how his legs hold out.

derek cooke didn't play basketball till he graduated.

alan herndon is not that type of player. he's been a one sport basketball athlete for a while. I think his dad played at vmu, and his mom at wyoming.
 
Cooke will probably be similar to Justin Williams. Am I remembering right? Triple double man? Probably won't be quite the shot blocker, but u never know
