Ummm, I can’t take that bet. This is not a great version of the Air Force option offense, but I suspect they will still score a minimum of 21 on this Wyoming defense. This Wyoming defense is way too undisciplined and are terrible at pursuit angles and one on one tackling - all critical components to stopping an option offense.
Is there anyone out there that thinks this Wyoming offense can score more than 21 point in this game?
This is absolutely correct. And beyond defense, our offense is wholly inept. When you can’t score more than 10 offensive points against a crappy UNT defense, you suck. This is not a great version of the Air Force option offense, but I suspect they will still score a minimum of 21 on this Wyoming defense. Agree. The stubbornness from Sawvel is stunning (ever since before spring really). Surely, he realizes his loyalty will cost him his livelihood? Surely he knows that other coaches make QB changes all the time, and that it is perfectly acceptable to do so, right? Whatever the hang up is, he needs to either move, or be moved, NOW.A change of QB would be the one thing that could turn our fortunes. I don't know how it could hurt.
I'm also going. Can't help myselfI'm still going! I've been a stubborn Wyoming supporter my entire life, though thick and thin.
Cost him his livelihood? Whether he coaches Wyoming next year or not - he walks away with a $5 million check. He won the lottery.Agree. Although I understand what you are saying, the football coach community is watching, and homeboy isn't going many places after what is being displayed under his "leadership". That and, his buyout is only the base salary portion from what I understand (could be wrong) - so about $1,500,000.Cost him his livelihood?
