Air Force game

Man oh man do we need Leonard for this one, and if we do pull the road upset, this should solidify our 7 seed in the tourney as Nevada and Fresno State have a tough road the rest of the way playing all the big boys. If we ever needed a win in the worst way this is the one. If we keep Lyons and Fletcher and Brookhuis in check we have a good chance, but unfortnately I think fatigue has set in and it'll be hard pressed if we win another game in the last 3, although wouldn't that be fun if we get the Sheep at home!!! Cmon Pokes let's get it done!!!

This may go against all logic, but I think the best chance of a remaining game win will be against CSU. Notice I didn't say "win", but "best chance" for a win.

Agree. Because it is the border war...and that is the only reason.

Where the hell was Derrious's head last night, man he looked like he didn't want to be there, lackidasical passes and not playing any sort of D like we've seen outta him, Larry looked frustrated, and Leonard still looked hurt. That D effort was one of the saddest I saw all year. And we went away from what was working, if we've got a hot hand, feed it more and often. I'm hoping this team hasn't given up, but it kinda looked like it last night??? we still have to make some noise in the MWC tourney, not just show up....frustrated, since going 13-0, we're 5-10 in the last 15, wow, did we really play creampuffs earlier??? oh yeah thanx Martinez...lol

Apparently Nance has lost 15 pounds over the last couple of weeks since he was hospitalized. No wonder his playing has been off.

That sounds reasonable. What would Gilmore's excuse be for last night?

Gilmore was also hospitalized, but he's either been hot or not when it comes to shooting. For his lack of defense, not real sure.

I don't know what to think after that game. It was fun to watch until down the stretch. Sobey hopefully showed what he can do and bring to this team next year and the rest of this year. Be a replacement for martinez. Gilmore killed us shooting the ball. It was just one of those nights but he prob shouldn't have kept putting them up. Washington continues to be a warrior and carries this team on his shoulders. LAst night though he got burned a number of times on the defensive end down the stretch that really hurt us. Im sure his ankle isn't 100% and he hadn't played in a couple weeks so was no quite in game shape. He looked exhausted. Sucked to see us not play as tough of D that I know we can.

He did seem exhausted, despite getting another double-double. But a bad ankle injury certainly would not help. He and Nance were not 100% last night, that's for sure.

I am surprised LW made it back to playing this soon. A high ankle sprain is something that takes a long time to heal enough to walk on, let alone play on. We are still the Wyoming Walking Wounded. It just seems like we have gotten our share of bad breaks this conference season.

I can't wait and still am for Larry to put this team (his team) on his shoulders and show us what he's truly capable of, needs a killer instinct!!!

I've been watching Gilmore all season now, and if there's anything I've learned, it's that he's not very open to coaching from Shyatt. I saw hints of it earlier in the season, but in the UNLV game last Saturday it was as obvious as a fired postal worker with a gun that he lacks respect for his coaches. I personally think Shyatt can't wait for Gilmore's last game.

I agree with that. Gilmore wants to do what he wants. Grabau and Adams are both much more suited to run the offense correctly than Gilmore.
