Acoustics still...

Great win. Both sides of the ball. Still worried about pass defense rest of year. Was it me or do the acoustics still suck. ? It's really loud on south end from the video board and it still sounds like shit. Too much treble not enough base when the PA announcer speaks. I don't understand how the administration doesn't see or hear what the fans hear or see.

my first visit on Saturday and I like it, but regardless of the ribbon boards, we need a simple scoreboard on the North side of the stadium, sorry I'm old school, but overall it looks good, acoustics I just think after years of listening to Jack Nokes, we're accustomed to hearing it that way, LOL

They suck, but not nearly as bad. And it is fixable in my opinion. The administration doesn't see or hear what the fans see or hear, because they don't sit amongst the fans, particularly during games - when they need to.

Ya, there are always things that can be improved...in almost every situation. Some call that "bitching" I guess. Jerry's world has some flaws, undoubtedly. I have never been a "good enough" kind of guy personally - and I guess you could consider that bitching, but I consider it having the highest of expectations of everything. Can you imagine if the world revolved around "good enough is good enough"?

So - did UW half ass the sound system at the War? Most would just say, "Hey, it is better than what we had, so we are great now!" Others may say, "Wow, that is the best thing since blowjobs and chocolate." Even then, others may say, "For an extra $40,000 - they could have mirrored the sound system at Mile High, why do we continue to half-ass things". And then you have some that will even state, "Does the admin know how shitty the sound is in the NEW sound system?" to bring dialogue to something the admin may not know about. Which is what the case is here in this thread.

Did you notice when UC Ringolsby kicked a field goal on Saturday, the net attendants didn't get the net up, and it plunked our $3,000,000 baby? So not only do the poles make for interesting dialogue (bitching), they sometimes don't matter...I guess?

Did you notice when UC Ringolsby kicked a field goal on Saturday, the net attendants didn't get the net up, and it plunked our $3,000,000 baby? So not only do the poles make for interesting dialogue (bitching), they sometimes don't matter...I guess?

I did notice. UC Dildo's kicker had a powerful leg that could have damaged our new beauty. Lucky for us he hit it like a driver and not a 7 iron.

Yeah, most definitely true. Someone also bitched about the lack of north scoreboard that they just recently demolished. Not sure if there's plans to get another one after the HATC is completed. I'm pointing out that daddy could buy some people a new car and they'd bitch that it's not a Mercedes.

Some people just think mediocre is good enough i guess. Like Just beating CSU and having a shit season Is good enough. We should always be looking to improve and get better.
