When will our team ever finish a team on the road?

That was the most pathetic display of defense I have ever seen by a winning team.

6 TO's and we win by one?

With the score 28-14 with about 7 minutes to go we should have finished them off 35-14. That team was defeated and then our defense parted like the Red Sea.

We aren't going to be that fortunate with TO's again.
 
Wyoming is 3-0. Hard to complain......Was it pretty? No. Hell, there was some seriously lucky sh!t going in Wyoming's favor, but a win is a win. Nebraska is a likely blowout, but the Pokes have to be confident going in at least.
 
What the hell is wrong with our secondary? Anybody who watched the game care to share your thoughts?
 
Our defense can't stop a pissed off boxer trying get of a wet paper sack, BUT our offense is rolling and we are 3-0!
 
who cares! its over and we will learn from it! we are young but very talented. It shouldnt have been that close but we will take it!

No shit. Give BG some credit for averaging over 500 yards and 45 points a game coming into today. We traveled two time zones and played at 10:00 am.
 
Its easy to focus on the negatives. Without those forced TO's in the red zone, the Poke easily lose this game. So what about those plays? Those go ignored? IMO, the defense is the reason the team WON!!! 28 points at Bowling Green is hardly impressive from the offense. Forcing 6 TO's on the Falcons? That is impressive.
 
I'll take the win. It is nice to have luck on our side for once and get so many turnovers.

Having said that I knew going into the game we would have to either score a ton of points to win or get a lot of turnovers because our defense isn't the greatest. The defense actually, I thought overall played better in the 2nd half than they did the first half except for that last drive. You have to give our defense credit for causing turnovers as well but we just need to keep improving. I will take the win cause it was crucial for a bowl game.

The offense needs to get better at finishing drives up as well.

I know its only 3 games in but its not bad to up the scoring average from 19 to 36 :thumb:
I hope ACS feels about this big
 
I despise prevent defense more than anything. Id rather play straight up and make them beat you.

Glad we won.
 
I know we aren't good enough to complain about any road wins, so I'm happy and I'll take that.

The offense does seem to be a lot further along than I thought it would, that's a VERY big positive. But the pass defense, even before the prevent.... :oops:

We need to get pressure on the QB. Period. When we do that, it disrupts their offense.
 
BEEZINS got alot of pressure, Hell our Dline did great and the tackling was good in the second half but i dont think its a Secondary issue on that last drive. It a damn Marty English issue
 
If you told me before the game we win 28-27 I take it in a heartbeat.

At the beginning on the 4th I started thinking we had a chance for a real statement road win. I probably shouldn't have started this thread.
