Aaron Young asking Brett for Palmers number.

Weird...I was on twitter and saw Aaron Young asked Brett Smith for Jordan Palmers phone number.

I guess it's good he is reaching out for help, but it kinda baffles me he did it over twitter for everyone to see. I don't know if he expects Brett to just give him the number or what.
Anyways, I thought it was interesting.

Aaron is trying to watch out for himself, but he doesn't really know how to do it properly. He'll, he went through Facebook to land a scholarship. I guess it worked, so why not try twitter?

I guess ya gotta admire the drive, and the will to succeed.

And with as much as we are seeing more of the same with our athletic department, I give him kudos for doing things a little different and not doing things the way everyone else does.

Get 'em Aaron.

I totally forgot about the fact we got that Indiana QB too.

Two thoughts:

1) I have to say that I would not do it this way--but I guess this is the new generation.

2) He is certainly cut out to become a salesman someday. He will need to learn how to close, but he seems to have what it takes to get the door open.

He is grasping for anything at this point. Problem is we all know what I suspected all along. #unathletic

This is exactly why I prefer coaches to physically see the athletes that they are recruiting, before they are offered. Offering off a facebook exchange is strange to say the least. I dont blame the athlete, hes just trying to sell himself. Coaches must have been totally spun in regards to the Qb situation.

But on the same hand if they just did their research they could have come to the same conclusion some of us her eon this board did! It wasn't hard to see that he was not all that great! He was slow, weak, and un-recruited out of high school! That is pretty obvious! Hell even a "slappy" like myself saw it!

I just don't get it. Bohl & staff surely knew, and were just taking a shot, right?
