9-11 Upcoming Games

So i'm starting this early, This is a chance for us to reflect on the upcoming MWC games and where we see teams going after this week. Now oddly enough the game that intrigues me the most is New Mexico @ Texas. I'm very interested to see what UNM can do to the same team we played.

Now we know that UNM crushed SOU and we have to question was that a fluke or was that a preview of what UNM is going to be putting up this season?

Air Force crushed ISU we all expected it.

CSU squeaked by CU and we actually have no idea if that was a good or CU is weak.

Fresno State walked over Weber Sate but that doesn't tell us much at all.

Nevada beat Cal we don't know what that means but we will find out more as Cal faces ranked teams. Nevada has a weak schedule this year so no real idea where they stand but they looked good.

BSU in my opinion looked weak some people say it was just the team they played but they didn't look good on either side of the ball imo.

Hawaii got demolished but they played the #1 team in the nation so it was expected.

SDSU lost to Washington and they looked bad, couldn't move the ball for shit.

UNLV looked awful they play Northern Arizona this upcoming week, ASU crushed them 63-6 and ASU doesn't seem to be that amazing from what I have seen. So we will see how UNLV plays Northern Arizona.

IMHO neither BSU or MSU looked like a top 25 team to me in that game. However, 1st game of the season and all...not sure the rankings matter much.

After Texas and the Rams, I want to see the Pokes beat BSU and SDSU most (yes, I am petty...give me credit for admitting as much).

Agreed on the UNM Texas game interest this week.

At least it wasn't a shootout loss to an FCS team, so there's already improvement, especially by matching last year's number of wins already.

No surprise there.

CU finished 2-10 in a fairly weak PAC (outside of USC, Stanford, and Oregon). I don't see much change this year, and I'm actually surprised the sheep lost to the fluffs last year despite having Fairchild as HC.

Fresno State walked over Weber Sate but that doesn't tell us much at all.
Outside of having a potent offense and a really good d-coordinator as HC, pretty much.

Nevada beat Cal we don't know what that means but we will find out more as Cal faces ranked teams. Nevada has a weak schedule this year so no real idea where they stand but they looked good.
Cal finished around the .500 mark last year, so unless Cal becomes the PAC North champ at least, I would have to say it was a win over an alriht team.

BSU in my opinion looked weak some people say it was just the team they played but they didn't look good on either side of the ball imo.
The only TD they scored was off a pick 6. Despite getting 4 TOs to their 1, the game was really not as close as most make it out to be. MSU literally ran over them from start to finish on both sides of the ball. They have a mobile QB, but it was made abundantly clear that he is no Kellen Moore.

Hawaii got demolished but they played the #1 team in the nation so it was expected.
Ugly loss to one of the top teams in the country, but they started to get into a rythm in the second half.

SDSU lost to Washington and they looked bad, couldn't move the ball for shit.
They lost to a team that is known for explosive offense and a weak defense and couldn't do much of anything. Losing Lindley and Hillman hurt them a lot more than what some of their fans will admit (one even said, and I quote,"Washington had the best offense and defense we will see all year next to Boise.").

UNLV looked awful they play Northern Arizona this upcoming week, ASU crushed them 63-6 and ASU doesn't seem to be that amazing from what I have seen. So we will see how UNLV plays Northern Arizona.
They showed flashes of being at least decent, especially with their RBs like Cornett.
