8.30.09 Show... EPIC?

Randy Welniak now on the show. Randy had a variety of jobs at different colleges, but Laramie is where he wants to be. Best experience as a Cowboy was the friendships he made over the years, even when on the bench. Talking about the 11 win Holiday Bowl season in 88. Not the same team going into the Holiday Bowl as they started the season due to injuries. Talking about meeting Barry Sanders, said he was quiet and humble.
 
Randy's helping coach LHS. Son is a QB. Working w/ the QBs and WRs, helped the LHS install a new offense. Sounds like son is following in Dad's footsteps. Hoping they can get Laramie back to HS sports prominance, and trying to build them around town since they're overshadowed by UW. Welniak predicts Robert Benjamin will be named starting QB.
 
I think one of the Denver Sports Radio commercials called him Baird.. the intro calls him Dane.. he is the guy without a name.
 
Talking about Rathbun's days blocking for Lynn Sexton and Ryan Christofferson. Talking about the 96 WAC championship. The success of Joe Tiller's offense at UW and Purdue.

I would to since Weber had a LEAD by halftime of last year's Hawaii game.
