6-6 would be a Good Year

You heard it hear first Wyoming will be fighting for a Bowl Berth in November

I was extremely hard on Stanard and Vigen two years ago stating that neither one would make it in Florida as high school coaches.
With Stanard gone I can see the defense improving drastically.
No more players looking around as if there lost- Just playing cowboy tough
We might even stop New Mexico's Running Attack

This will be Vigen's Year to prove he belongs.
I am a NON BELIEVER - even after last years Offensive display.
WHY ?????
Josh was good for 3-4 Wins (He surprised a lot of teams after 2-10)
We had 5-6 NFL Players on Offense (Tanner, Chase Brian and Hollister) not counting Josh and Maulhardt who got a Tryout. (Cummings)
8-6 With this talent seemed a bit below average
The Scheme was 1st Down Handoff to Hill
2nd Down Handoff to Hill
3rd Down Josh Rollout throw across your body and have Gentry make a great catch.

I failed to see an offensive scheme to get the tight end open in the middle of the field or to get the ball to Hill one on one vs. a Linebacker.
I did see the Lame Jet sweeps by Conway that only happened every time he came into the game. He sat on the bench at all other times. Can he run a regular pattern ?? Can we put him in the game on other plays so the defense doesn't know he will run the Jet Sweep ??
So while most Cowboy Fans applauded the Offense last year I was unimpressed as we haven't had that much Talent here in a Long Time
DC left some talent- Maybe Bohl Coached them up ??
Look for Iowa to control the game Saturday and Blitz Josh every play- Under 52 seems to good to be true.
6 Wins Gardner Webb, Hawaii, Texas State, Fresno, San Jose State (Air Force/Utah State)
6 Losses Iowa, Oregon, Boise, New Mexico, CSU, (Air Force/Utah State)

Lets stay healthy keep Josh on his feet and give our Fullback the Ball once in a while
NO JOSH ON 3rd and two they figured that out towards the last part of last year

I think you're a little hard on the offense. After all, we gave up 69 points to UNLV and New mexico got tired from running up and down the field untouched. I would agree that the last 1/3 of the season was a big letdown.

That said, 6-6 would be a very disappointing result. Losing at home 3 times is certainly possible but a worst case scenario. If the defense performs as well as you think, then 8 or 9 wins is quite possible. I think the key to the season will be our run defense and winning the turnover battle.

I truly think that if this class is truly bigger, stronger, faster like we're hearing compared to those recruited earlier this decade, I'm hearing we are truly bigger and look more like a football team. These recruits will have to step it up and perform, and I agree that they lost a lot of NFL (now proven) talent on the WR corp, I am still and always will be down on players that leave early, still stinging from Brett Smith's ill advised departure, and although haven't heard anything yet about BH, getting cut, leaving for the 5th round, horrible destination to an already full backfield in ATL, but he'll land somewhere, can you imagine the 1-2 punch of JA and BH this year, sigh.......
I still see a possibility of 9-3 realistically and would truly love to see that start tomorrow in Iowa City...but 6-6 would probably mean that we'd turn down the bowl bid for 1st time in our bowl eligibility history, and JA wouldn't play for fear of his next career. Time will tell and we shall see, albeit we aren't spozed to win tomorrow the "upset" would truly be worth the trip out tonight/tomorrow. GO POKES GET ER DONE

Was someone stupid enough to hire Dino again in Wyoming? If so, it won't take him long to get fired again.

He'll be fired before the end of football season for insulting someone: bank on that.

I saw he's trying to sell his Wyoming radio site again on twitter, so it looks like he's planning a return.

I just can't see how someone would be stupid enough to hire him again. Maybe he's funding the radio site out of his own pocket.

Who knows, if history is any indication, it only takes Dino a couple of hours to piss someone off, so he won't be here long if he is here.

If it was in fact him at the bar this isn't just true on radio/twitter/etc, but in person as well

Rule number one of "Sock Club".....don't talk about "Sock Club".

So there must be 25 Dinos responding today
I sent a thoughtful Pre game message and was crucified
Now Post game a lot of you knuckleheads agree- hypocrisy at its best.

While I am not Dino please refrain your snide remarks as I only gave my opinion
Not Dinos not a sock puppet just a Fan who thinks Vigen is not qualified to call plays for a Division I Football team.
I have seen enough to understand Josh Allen saved his Job

Bring on Gardner Webb - Even Vigen can call plays against a team like this
