Well deserved for our league. Real proud of the MWC. UNM #3 seed, UNLV #5 seed, SDSU #7 seed, CSU #8 seed, and BSU #13 seed.
I'm kind of surprised that CSU is a seed below SDSU, and that BSU, with better quality wins than SDSU was 6 seeds behind the Aztecs. But overall, Very proud of the MWC!
And the competition... I can see BSU beating LaSalle. CSU might have a shot at Mizzou, but I doubt they beat Louisville in the 2nd Rd.
UNM will beat Harvard, I also think they could get by Arizona in the 2nd Rd.
SDSU is a toss up with OU, could easily go either way. If they do get by them G-Town will handle them easily.
UNLV has already beat Cal once this year, granted it was a one point win, But, I think composure will be key and UNLV will thrive. Come the 2nd Rd, I doubt they get by Syracuse.

Overall, it looks good for the MWC, there are chances for some of these teams to go deep, time will tell.

Committee broke the cardinal rule with UNLC/Cal.....oh well, now the real sweating begins. The MWC cannot afford to suck in the tourney again......someone needs to represent.

I hope New Mexico picks up that flag....anything short of the Sweet Sixteen will be a huge disappointment.
CSU got a rough draw.....even if they get past Missouri, Louisville will curb-stomp them.
BSU can beat La Salle, but that's as far as they will get.
SDSU and UNLV are always crap shoots come tourney time.

My first bracket that I filled out I have NM winning the NC, and UNLV and Boise going to the Sweet16.
And CSU and SDSU losing their first game.

I have UNLV and New Mexico in the Elite 8, Boise winning their openner and against K state in a huge upset, CSU is done against Mizzou and SDSU beating Oklahoma!! call me crazy but it's going to be a fun tourney to watch this year!!!
