After todays embarrassing Border War (there was no War, it was more of an invasion, and lay down and let them do what the hell they want)...it's hoops season for me.
I'm sure I am overreacting a little bit but I am ready for some hoops.

Can't wait to see the team blowout Tennessee-Martin.
Hopefully we can win our OOC games this year without our starting 5 playing 35 minutes.

I think we will see more balanced minutes (with the exception of Nance, who will play every single minute that conditioning/fouls will allow) overall.

It's going to be a tough year though. At least in football, the MWC has some really bad teams, so even a poor UW squad can get some wins (AFA, UNM, and hopefully Hawaii). In basketball, if there are any, it's only one (SJSU) and I think they will be much better than people think (plus we only play them once). Just a tough slate in MWC Men's hoops right now.
 
At least you know you're going to see kids come out with their heads attached to their shoulders, not believing the b.s. hype created by blowing out Northern Colorado/Air Force/UNM/Idaho, and leaving 110 percent effort on the floor whenever they play.

DC has that "this is how we are doing it" mentality and it continues to not work. Against the bad teams, yes it works, but against better teams? Psh, yeah right.
Shyatt can get his team to knock of Top 25 teams, DC gets shit on by Texas State, and CSU.
