So.....how many think this is a good bet? Nebraska at home is a tough win but exactly how good are we at this point?

I think the Majority of Nebraska fans think that's a bit high as well. Its been well documented that Riley is going to do everything he can to keep from opening up the playbook before Oregon in week 3. So this game can go one of many ways. From my perspective I could see us pull away in the 4th similar to Fresno. Depth and size is hard to overcome when you continuously pound the ball play after play.

The way Wyoming can counter is to get their running game going too. and keep their defense off the field (something Fresno could not do). Nebraska only gave up under 40 yards rushing last week so I guess it will all come down to who can stop whos ground game and keep the others offense off the field. Turnovers in this game could be the difference for both sides.

I think Brian Hill will show he alone is better than Fresno's entire run game. Bohl will obviously want to run the ball a lot, keep time of possession in Wyoming's favor as much as possible. I don't think that's a surprise, as everyone points the the NDSU-Kansas State game as the blue print of Bohl Ball.

With that said, I think Riley will have a similar strategy, but try to get the ball to the edge more and throw the deep ball, and I think Wyoming has a fair chance in this game, but Nebraska should have a small lead at halftime, and by the end of the game pull away fairly decently.

Look at the game Golladay had. We knew they wanted to go to him and still struggled to stop it. Nebraska has more than 1 highly talented wide receiver. I'd stay away from this bet, seeing as how you are NEVER allowed to bet against the brown and gold. The pokes made me some good cash last weekend, but I think the big play ability of NE says to look at the other games on Saturday for your cash. Hope I'm terribly wrong! Louisville, Ohio State, and Notre Dame will give you your best bet this weekend.

Golladay is a special player.

This team can move the ball and the improved speed on the defense should limit the big plays more so than in the past. Cowboys absolutely cover.

I went with the over on 58. And also a few bucks on the ML for a Wyoming win.

Because Bohl is the bald, second coming of Doug Henning is what I keep seeing from all the Gerhardt's from the far north that post here all the time.

I don't trust their QB to get their "playmakers" the ball. So it would have to be on sweeps, reverses or screen plays. I think we've got the speed to cover that for the most part (I'm sure this was a major point of emphasis this week, defending these plays). I'm worried about getting pounded up the gut into submission.

I think it's unfair to say we can't stop the pass because Golladay dominated us - he's an amazing receiver who WILL play on Sundays. Sure Nebraska has a better receiver corps overall, but I don't think they have a difference maker like Golladay.

Note that I'm not saying we can stop the pass either.

I think Wyoming covers because the way we play will limit Nebraska's possessions, even if they score on every single one. If we don't do that, everything's going wrong.

Golladay is a good player, but he was dominated as recently as their bowl game last December. Nebraska will have play makers just as good, if not better. Thankfully Nebraska still starts Tommy Armstrong at QB. He alone gives any Husker opponent a chance.

Exactly. Golladay is 6'5", 220, and super fast. He's on the Billetnekoff watch list. I don't think Nebraska has a receiver any where near as good as Golladay.

Even though Northern Illinois is MAC and Nebraska is B1G, it's a big stretch to say the Huskers receivers are as good or better than Kenny Golladay.

No way man. Nebraska has really, really good receivers (just ask any Nebraska fan).

They just don't use them that much. Which is a head scratcher.

I think NIU lost 3 quarterbacks to season ending injuries last year. I know their preseason All Mac QB didn't play in their last few games. Probably made a difference.

Hate to bring reality to you guys, but our receivers are light years ahead of yours, per recruiting advantages. We're nothing like NIU, and it'll probs be a blood bath. Our return game is dangerous :)
