2018 Wyoming Football Expectations [WyoNation Blog]

The defense may keep them in games, but can't expect the amount of turnovers they had last season. Multiple turnovers kept them in a lot of games last year. Judging by the San Jose State and Fresno State games, offensive playbook is really simple with a freshman QB, back to the run-run-pass-punt. O-line sets the tone for the season. If there's a running game and TVW isn't constantly running for his life just trying to make something happen, this is a good team. Otherwise, it's down to hoping TVW has the same ability JA had to rally the offense and do just enough. 2016 was all offense, 2017 was all defense, here's to hoping 2018 is the year it all comes together.

They were actually pretty good before him, too. Don't get me wrong, I'm not underselling his accomplishments there but it was not turning around a losing program. It was more taking a winning program and making it better.

Slight difference between a winning Division II program and a winning FCS program, but yes otherwise you're right.
