2014 Wyoming CJC Donor Guide Email

Just received the announcement that I will be receiving such in the mail in "December".

Shall be interesting!

Got the same email. I'm a little concerned that they're going to strong-arm us for higher donations. Seems like they raise the cost of parking passes every season.

They can take their parking passes and stick em right up their ass! It's a caste system and I hate seeing unfilled parking spaces in the Ford lot or Summit View. (Is that the right name?) $200.00 got me the honor of a pass in the lot at Willett & 30th. Fuck em.

They (UW AD office / CJC) have used the parking lot as the primary driving force to grow donations. It is absolutely ridiculous. They should think outside the box, and separate the two (CJC donations & Parking passes). After all, if you are a season ticket holder, you are already going to take it in the ass with the seat premium, so maybe UW can turn around and kick you in the balls with a parking premium as well.

I thought you got a "free" parking pass for the summit view lot when you met the minimum donation for your seat?

That is part of the game. Make a $300 donation, and with it, you get the summit view parking pass. Wanna guess how much the summit view will cost you for 2014-2015? It has gone up every year, since they put that lot in place.

I paid $100 per seat ($200 total) and got one two years ago. Paid $220 last year and got one.

Like I said, Brown lot. 30th & Willett. Thats what you get because it is only 1 priority point. Up to $300.00.

I got summit view for 200. Maybe I have more priority points?

The biggest flaw. How many donors limit themselves to giving 10k when giving giving 15k more gives you the exact same thing?
How much money do you think we're actually losing because of this?

I too am an old fart. Weather pretty much determines the distance of walk I will take (enjoyable or not)! Big difference walking two or three blocks in 70 degree, sunny weather and 30 degree (or often far less), windy weather. I gave up being a CJC member some years back (don't remember which year but it was after walking out of the AA behind two CJC members talking of how UW's win over CSU would make it more difficult to get rid of McClain. Quit buying season BB tickets after TB's buddy's third season (wasn't smart enough to see the writing on the wall like the two couples from Cheyenne I sat with and joined at WAC and MW tournaments who quit when McClain was fired--guess I am just a slow learner). Quit with season FB tickets when the upgrade to War Memorial "was complete" (Wildcatter done but concession stands under the west stands remained as they have been for years). Still try to make it to a FB game or two and a few BB games but depends much on the weather and/or whether my nephew can drop me off fairly close. For the most part I listen on the radio and wonder when our programs are going to start competing since "we will be more competitive with BYU and Utah out of the conference"!
