Last year folks thought I was crazy for thinking we could win 8 games but it happened, lost a couple I think we could have won, and won a couple we could have lost but overall a pretty awesome season.
For some reason the national predictors think our schedule is tougher this year and we will be lucky to win 6. I don't think it is near as difficult as 2 years ago, and really I think it is about the same as last years, maybe a tiny bit harder. That said I think 5 home wins and 4 road wins is realistic and if we miss one of those maybe we can pickup a bowl game win. So for 2012, I think DC keeps the momentum going and takes another step forward and we get 9 wins in 2012.
If we play flawless I think we can beat anyone on our schedule. And if the "experts" are right and we win 6 or 7 games this year I don't think that would be tragic. I think our team will be better than last years team, regardless of the number of wins. I am excited to see what Nico Brown, Trent Sewell, and Uso Olive bring to the team in the fall.
