There won't be a huge amount of Buffs fans for this game as a lot of them are actually waiting for the following week when they play Kansas @Kansas to take a road trip.
We should still fill up the place though as much as possible.

Poor kid. Know all too well how knee pain can take it out of you.WYCowboy said:YankPoke said:Sounds like he has been having knee pain for a few weeks and missed a couple practices. This is true. He was hurting so bad at the end of the game against Bakersfield (I believe), he was barely able to get from one end of the floor to the other. Coach was trying to get a sub in for him, but was not able to get him out before the end of the game. I'm afraid we won't have him for the entire season.

TheRealUW said:Well, game day is finally here. A win against a very good CU team would be great to have on the resume come post-season tournament selection time.
The Buffs were picked to finish 6th in the 12 team Pac 12 by the media. That's more love than they got the previous season, when they were picked to finish tied for 10th. Personally, I think CU ends the season in 4th place in the Pac 12. Arizona, UCLA, and Cal will likely finish in front of them. That being said, there is no doubt in my mind that CU is definitely a NCAA tournament team this year.
Player to Watch: #21 Andre Roberson - By far the best player the Pokes have went up against this season. Was a first team all-conference selection as a sophomore last year. He was also named to the conference all-defensive team last year. This guy is an absolute animal on the boards. In fact, he was third in the entire nation last year when he averaged 11.1 rebounds per game. He has very quick hands and is one of the best shot blockers in the college game today. Oh yeah, the dude can score the ball too. Roberson is going to present a problem for the Pokes no matter what match-up we decide to use on him. If I were Shyatt, I would but Washington on him with the main focus being to get a big body on him every single time a shot goes up. If not, he will wreak havoc on the glass all night.
In my opinion, CU is clearly the better basketball team...but winning on the road is always a tough prospect. I have to say that I am shocked that the Pokes are favored by Vegas to win this game. It is going to take a tremendous defensive effort for UW to come out on top tonight. The Pokes need to hold CU to under 40% shooting from the field to win this game. They can do it, but it isn't going to be easy.
