Wyoming not playing well and still up 15-6....good to see that Wyoming can at least not play well and still hold leads over teams they should beat.

Wyoming does not have much depth. It shows at times. I don't think we go deeper than about 7 guys who can really play right now.

I would say 8-9 more from the games I have watched and listened to would be a more accurate guess of our depth.

They may play 8 or 9 a game, but I just get the feeling in my gut watching the team that we're really thin right now. Nevertheless I like the way they are competing.

It's like they were playing with a Colorado hangover. Definitely not the same offensive team I saw the other night and a little sluggish at times. A win is a win and I'll take it.

Wyoming just had a let down a little bit tonight after that big road win the other night but offensively it was ugly. They will be fine though. Glad to get the win.

I am by no means an expert in Basketball (this was my first game as a spectator ever actually) but even i could see that the Cowboys were not strong on offense.

Also i know that school is out and people may have left town but the attendance was way less than what i expected. I will however tip my hat for the noise made in the final two minutes. That was top class.

Hard to be strong on offense when the other team has two hands on your body at all times :tickedoff:

Our two big men (Adam Waddell & Larry Nance) were both sick with the flu last night. No wonder we looked a little sluggish & out-of-sync. We held a team that had averaged 89 points the last two games & 80 points for the season to 48 points. Wow! UC Irvine was a dirty team - several times I saw a couple of their players sneak an elbow to the face of J.D. Luster and take cheap shots at Adam and none of them were called by the officials. I saw one of the funniest things I have ever seen at a UW basketball game in this game. Toward the end of the game, a foul had been called on UC Irvine and the UC Irvine team huddled in the lane. Leonard Washington got right in the huddle and listened to everything that was being said. LMAO

Wyoming has one of the hardest working and strongest defenses we have had in the last decade. It was said best last night that offense can take the night off due to poor shooting but defense never takes the night off and Wyoming proved that last night and quite a few other games this season.

That being said here is a comparison breakdown of the next games up to the MWC Schedule.

Wyoming Defense vs Denver vs Idaho vs Utah Valley Offenses

The Denver offense is the only team that really looks like it could hold us up, PPG I'm pretty sure we are going to hold off just fine. If you reverse it and look at our Offense vs Denver vs Idaho vs Utah Valley Defenses those teams hold teams to between 60-70 PPG right where we sit.

I think we could easily start the MWC Schedule 15-1

Did you see when one of the teams called a time out and they were walking back to the bench one of the UC guys actually punched Washington? He didn't fight back he just said something and the ref (who was standing right there watching the whole thing) admonished Washington
