That spread went up....

My thoughts...

-Washington at -3.....with ASJ and Williams possibly sitting with suspension, that line is a steal.
-Texas can't even count to 44, let alone score that many points.
-Intrigued by BYU-Virginia. If Cougs are as good as they think they are, -4.5 is a slight on them.
-Rutgers had a Top 10 defense in 2012. Fresno at -8? I'd monitor that one.
-Utah at -4.....is USU going to regress or not? Not sure what to think of that game.
-Give me So. Carolina on that line.
-Give me Bama as well.

seattlecowboy,

I'm looking at the 1st half of the Wyoming-Nebraska game this year as my one spread game. Any thoughts? I wonder what the 1st half spread might look like. And leaning the over.

Jrod ,

The spread didn't go up at all. The -21 you were seeing before was from an offshore book called betonline and their numbers on spreads are always off by 3 or 4 points from every other Vegas or offshore book. The real opening number is the -26 you're seeing now. :thumb:

As for the other games you have listed not so sure about the Washington/ Boise State game as I think it will be close but Washington will be pumped to open their new stadium so you could be right on that one.

I think Texas is a legitimate sleeper for the national championship this year but 44 points is a lot of points to cover.

Everyone I see is on Alabama the first game which makes me like Va. Tech. I'll wait for the line to go up to 21 points on that one and then take the Hokies possibly. :D

Hithere,

If the spread stays at -26 I think you will see a 1st half line of -14. I think the over could be a good play but they don't post over/unders for another couple of weeks probably so I'm not sure where they will set the line at on it. I imagine it will be in the high 50's or low 60's but not sure. :thumb:

Hithere,

Let me change what I said in my previous post. I just found out from someone in Vegas that the opening number they are going to put out for the total on the Wyoming game is most likely 61. I do think Nebraska and Wyoming will go over the total if that's the number.
