Let me know what you guys think. That decal was about the hardest thing to put on. Big decals and curved surfaces don't like each other.

Haha thanks. I have one more just about done, just waiting for the paint on the facemask to dry. With this cold weather and low humidity for some reason it is taking forever for it to dry.J-Rod wrote:AWESOME helmets! Don't listen to wyokie, he still hasn't found his way out of the 80's.

Thank god you don't run Wyoming's football program. Who knows how many of these new combinations and helmets influenced recruits to go to Laramie? I like both those helmets.....the old 80's ones? Meh.Wyokie wrote: So? Those helmets work just as well as the stupid revolution helmets!!!!

I don't know if its about influencing as much as it is about competing in the recruiting game. You look at the major schools we are trying to compete with and they have some awesome nike stuff so we have to match it.
Yeah, that's what I was getting at. It helps the program improve in recruiting.wyocowboy2014 wrote:I don't know if its about influencing as much as it is about competing in the recruiting game. Hopefully the revolution helmets will be a stupid fad like all the Oregon combo uniforms.

Good luck with either of those ha. They are the trendsetters. The ducks evolve the game in terms of on field looks. The bar is set and they will continue to raise it and teams will continue to chase it.J-Rod wrote:Fat chance.Wyokie wrote:Hopefully the revolution helmets will be a stupid fad like all the Oregon combo uniforms.
+1 Exactly.wyocowboy2014 wrote: Good luck with either of those ha. They are the trendsetters. The ducks evolve the game in terms of on field looks. The bar is set and they will continue to raise it and teams will continue to chase it.

Actually the don't. "Revolution helmets have been proven through studies to reduce the risk of head injury. One major study on the helmet’s effectiveness was conducted by a team from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. The research compared the Revolution helmet with other models. 2,000 high school players participated in the study which took place over the course of three years. Research showed that 5.4% of the athletes wearing the Revolution helmet suffered a concussion during a game as opposed to 7.6% of the players wearing the older model helmets. High school players wearing the Revolution helmet were 31% less likely to experience a concussion"Wyokie wrote:
