I like that people are thinking outside of the box. I'm dubious that a structure like that could stay together.
Until Washington State and Oregon State figure out that they aren't P4 anymore they'll stir the pot and cause problems for everyone else. The best pathway to financial success and relevance is to keep the MW teams together and wait out OSU and WSU.

Whatever BSU paid their lawyers to get that agreement has been well worth it to them. If there was a legal way to change it...it would have been done years ago. One school likes it out of the entire conference and yet it persists.
It's all getting fuzzy, but back at the time the Big East was going to pull in Boise and SDSU, and the BYU project, I think the extra money for Boise is what saved the MWC.
Maybe if we reverse merge into the PAC-2 then it can go away.
