My most vivid memory of Vic Washington is the 1968 Sugar Bowl. Wyoming was driving at the end of the game Wyoming was tying to score a TD to tie or win the game but fell just short. Washington was playing on offense and Wyoming was trying to get him the ball.
PS the Wiki is wrong the score was 20 LSU 13 Wyoming

When I saw that I knew it was wrong. Wikipedia is lousy at getting the correct facts on a lot of things.

Had two things been different at that time, Wyoming would probably be in the Big XII or PAC-12 now.

1. win against LSU in the Sugar Bowl

and of course...

2. Black 14 never happens.

But alas......

Vic Koenning - hope we never repeat that.

Leonard Washington - we could use a similar big man next year.
