Anyone have thoughts about this?

I don't see myself using the new premium seating, but I guess there is a big market for that type of thing. Will be good to have better pissers on the west side. Hope the chair back seating doesn't create another debacle with season ticket holders being moved.

Well certainly will provide more ways to make $$$$ for UW. My question would be, is it going to be half assed like the last renovation under Burman's watch (that is still a major poop show)? I sure as hell hope not, but we are talking about 6 annual events, unlike 32 annual events (or more).

Rumblings that a large contingent of season ticket holders on the west side may not renew their tickets in light of trough removal.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 10:22 am Anyone have thoughts about this?

I, for one, will miss the cold weather games and trough piss fog.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 10:35 amRumblings that a large contingent of season ticket holders on the west side may not renew their tickets in light of trough removal.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 10:22 am Anyone have thoughts about this?

Nothing like taking a piss at the same time with six other Wyoming brethren.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 10:35 amRumblings that a large contingent of season ticket holders on the west side may not renew their tickets in light of trough removal.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 10:22 am Anyone have thoughts about this?

It would be super to have a similar no-BS indoor track. The field house does not cut the mustard. Would wayyyy rather have a good indoor track than good pool.

Not saying I agree with the University on this (I don't), but to play devil's advocate: when is the last time we sold out a game? What's our average attendance? Will losing 1500 seats change the number of people that come to the game?
If we were a program that sold every ticket to every game we'd have a good argument not to lose seats, but to expand the stadium. That ain't us. Same with basketball. We lost seats with the remodel, but the last time we were selling out the AA was the WNIT run 16 years ago.

As far as sell-outs, that would be when seats / bleachers were added, for...Texas, Knebraska, Ole Miss, Virginia, Missouri...am I missing others? Will losing seats change the number that already attend - no. In fact, if anything (and UW surely knows this) it will jack ticket prices up. Supply & Demand. And as far as basketball, the AA should seat maybe 11k or 12k, and call it a day (see Vieja's in Whales kitty). And it was supposed to be that way, and the Admin royally f-word it up.WYO1016 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 8:26 amNot saying I agree with the University on this (I don't), but to play devil's advocate: when is the last time we sold out a game? A necessary upgrade.
Dumb question: Do they still make the 20 yard lines a different color because it denotes the "red zone"? I always thought they were different because that is where you started on a touchback - I guess I was wrong because if that was the case, the 25 would now be a different color. Either way, I like it with the Jonah Field off on the side.

Personally, I’d like to see Steamboat much bigger, maybe close to the hash marks. And the 7220 on the field maybe opposite ends of the MW logos.

Don’t know the guy. Saw this on Facebook and he gave The War some love. Actually higher than I expected.
