I think getting players that are trying to move up a level would be the best for Wyoming at this point. I don’t know if he will enter the portal but Joel Scott out of BHSU could be a great option.

I agree but doing due diligence on a portal player could pay off. Figuring why they are in portal is important. If it's playing time, they might not be good enough as we witnessed from the California kids. Eyeballing players from coaching changes might be fruitful.

Looks dominant. Just so hard to handicap that competition. Looks like he has mostly future mailmen and insurance salesman guarding him.

I was excited to see a highlight tape with music from the band Rancid as that would be somewhat unique. I was a bit disappointed.

Welcome to Wyoming “Cowboy”. The world needs more Cowboys.

"The No. 1 reason for me was the opportunity to play for coach Linder," Newton said Monday afternoon. "He possesses a basketball mind that’s second to almost none. The opportunity to learn and grow under him for two years was simply a no-brainer for me, considering I’d like to be a coach someday, myself."

Well said Kobe…….Kobe, I like that name! Take that - all the Linder naysayers.

I saw Linder taking this kid and his posse around half acre last week. Looks like a freak athlete

I like the idea of recruiting kids looking to level up. Kids with chips on their shoulder looking to prove people wrong and who view UW as an upgrade.

Hell, even if they leave like Ike, if we were to establish a reputation for being a school that can get you to the next level and we consistently get kids for only 1-2 years who are really freaking good...i think I'd take that.
