The defense this team “plays” is horrific.

We hit enough shots to win, just let them score at will.

"You're not going to change unless you have the ability to find ways to get better defensively," Linder said. "The reality is, it's the same defensive scheme that allowed us to win 25 games last year. It's the same defensive scheme that allowed us to be in the Top-75 in the country defensively last year. Right now, I mean, we're probably in the 300 range. So, you know, some of those guys in the locker room, at some point, they've got to hold each other accountable."

Linder post game. When the head coach is questioning the team's effort...good things rarely come.

Ouch!

Tough to beat any team with these stats, regardless...

40.7% FG, vs. 53.7% FG
42.4% 3 Pt., vs. 55.0% 3 Pt. (Oden 1 for 6, Reynolds 4 for 11)
71.4% FT (14), vs. 85.0% FT (20)

If we are a shooting team, as was advertised, it sure hasn't panned out that way this season.

Ike is said to make all the difference on both ends of the court, but is his presence really going to make our perimeter D that much better? We don't guard the three well OR stop dribble penetration. I guess if Ike were in there we could sell out 100% chasing people off the 3 point line.. We look so inept on D it's scary.
