The hits just keep on coming. Down 5 scholarship players. I have never seen so many injuries on one team in my life.

Does the training staff get a big fat F or is it something Linder is doing? I know Linder's practices involve a ton of live scrimmaging. Are the guys being overworked and is this leading to injuries?

And I love how it takes a national guy like Rothstien to report this, not, you know, our local beat writers.

Concussion and illness are surely not on the training staff I would imagine. The rest? I don't know.

We are 10.5 point dogs. Can we even keep it that close?

If we had Reynolds and Wenzel, I would say yes. But I don't think so without them. MAybe our PAC-12 transfer will have breakout games

Max was awful against SDSU. Worse than awful. Whatever worse than awful is - that is what Max was. The others? Kyman? Yow. He was a ghost during the SDSU game, except for when he playing like garbage. Anderson was ok, but is way too loose with the ball.

If we are going to stay within 20, I think X, Hunter and Oden have to step forward and be counted. Those guys know what it takes. Will they? The jury is about to start deliberating.

Max still played defense 1000x better than Hunter Thompson ever could.

Anderson is a great athlete and rebounder. He's been showing flashes of decent offense.

100% agree. Thompson shouldn't be a measuring stick for anything in our program. Anderson does show potential. His ball handling and decision-making will get better - and a lot of guards struggle against SDSU.

I disagree. I didn't see Max guarding a post player except on the rare switch. I'm not defending Thompson as an excellent post defender, but Max isn't a post defender at all. He did have a couple of good defensive plays as an off-ball defender. JO did most of the work guarding their posts.

Anderson had a good game. He's our one true PG. He did a nice job of getting to the rim and scoring, and he hit his FTs.

Compared to the athletic size and speed of SDSU - weight room gets a big fat F, no question. And agree, our local media (Wyoming) is not even mediocre. They don't report poop.

They have more injuries than the football team. I don’t even see how it’s possible for a basketball team to have so many injuries. And Foster should just call it a career that guy is always hurt.

At this point I would be surprised if he didn't do just that.

Maldo going for that rare double double of turnovers and missed shots. He's off to a very strong start.

I’m not sure how these kids have the stamina to finish the year with no bench. I really do feel sorry for them.
