I will get an update put together tomorrow. Final roster cuts are due by 2pm tomorrow. Want to make sure I have an accurate list put together when the season ramps up.

This will be updated throughout the day

I'll be updating the first post in this thread to accurately reflect each player's roster status (active, IR, practice squad). If a player is a free agent they will not be listed. I'll post any transactions outside of the weekly update when they happen.

Roster updates for roster cut day:

Austin Fort: Released by the Broncos

Tanner Gentry: Released by the Bills

Tyler Hall: Released by the Rams

Jacob Hollister: Released by the Bills
From my understanding they are looking to re-sign him under a different contract

Eddie Yarbrough: Released by the 49ers

Hollister is likely to be re-signed by the Bills for more money according to many sources. They cut him because he has enough years in the league to qualify as a FA rather than be delegated to waivers. The Bills want to IR a couple players then bring back Hollister.

Makes sense for hollister. Couldn’t believe he was released.

Hope fort catches on somewhere. He had such terrible luck with injuries and missed a lot of chances to impress

I'm not sure how Okwuegbunam and Saubert somehow kept their spots over Fort?

Okweugbunam was a 4th round pick, so they've got more than a little invested in him. Saubert has been really good on special teams.

Rumors of Hollister potentially being offered more money elsewhere. I really want him on the Bills but can’t fault him if he gets a better deal.

Procedural moves can begin in 15 minutes. I imagine we'll start seeing some Pokes on practice squads and Hollister signing to an active roster.

Letting Holister get away can't make Josh too happy.

Practice squad signings:
Tanner Gentry - Buffalo Bills
Tyler Hall - Los Angeles Rams

I'm really surprised Hollister isn't going back to the Bills. Hopefully he lands with a good quarterback and system.

Week 1:

Josh Allen:
The Bills couldn't quite get over the hump, losing to the Steelers 16-23
STATS: 30/51 - 270 yds - 1 TD - 9 carries - 44 yards - 2 fumbles (1 lost)
Josh was pretty up-and-down in this one. He'd look great one series, then overthrow everything the next.
UP NEXT: The Bills travel to Miami for an 11:00am game on Fox

Marcus Epps:
The Eagles trounced Atlanta 32-6
STATS: 1 solo tackle - 1 assisted tackle
Marcus left the game in 1st quarter with a concussion
UP NEXT: The Eagles host the 49ers for an 11:00am game on Fox

Tashaun Gipson:
The Bears got thumped 14-34 by the Rams in the first game ever to be played in SoFi Stadium
STATS: 3 solo tackles
It wasn't a great day for the Bears secondary. Tashaun didn't touch a receiver down, resulting in a touchdown for the Rams.

UP NEXT: The Bears host Logan Wilson and the Bengals for an 11:00am game on Fox

Carl Granderson:
The Saints demolished the Packers 38-3
STATS: None recorded
UP NEXT: The Saints will head to Carolina for an 11:00am game on Fox

Tyler Hall:
The Rams throttled Chicago 34-14
STATS: None recorded
Tyler was called up to the active roster on Saturday

UP NEXT: The Rams will travel to Indianapolis for an 11:00am game on Fox

Jacob Hollister:
Jacksonville got wrecked by Houston 21-37
STATS: Jake was not on the active roster for this game
UP NEXT: Jacksonville hosts the Broncos for an 11:00am game on CBS

Mike Purcell:
The Broncos took down the Giants 27-13
STATS: None recorded
UP NEXT: Denver will visit Jacksonville for an 11:00am game on CBS

Chase Roullier:
Washinton couldn't get by the Chargers, losing 16-20
STATS: 126 rushing yards - 1 sack allowed [Leno]
Since there aren't a lot of stats to track for an offensive lineman I'm just going to post the pertinent team stats for Chase.
UP NEXT: Washington will host the Giants for the Thursday night game

Logan Wilson:
The Bengals took the Vikings down in overtime 27-24
STATS: 4 solo tackles - 3 assisted tackles
Logan played in 87% of the defensive snaps
UP NEXT: Cincinnati will head to Chicago for an 11:00am game on Fox

Andrew Wingard:
Jacksonville got wrecked by Houston 21-37
STATS: 4 solo tackles - 1 assisted tackle
Dewey got the start in the first game this season
UP NEXT: Jacksonville hosts the Broncos for an 11:00am game on CBS

Wasnt the Bills day, a little bit of everything went wrong including questionable play calling, bad o line play and a killer special teams f-word up. Steelers will be one of the scariest defenses in the league so i'm not sweating this one, and I think most Bills fans are keeping cool at least for now.

If you look at Jags fans on Twitter they were not a fan of Dewey's game yesterday. Seems like they could use a cleaning house and up and down the defensive roster.
