31-6 VT at the half. Not going to happen.
I thought if OK makes the playoff that opens up a spot for MWC and if the MWC gets the access bowl that opens up another?

Hoping what Lander is saying is true! If that is the case I'd say our chances just went from very slim, to very good. Memphis needs to keep their foot on the gas and not let this get close again.

I'm not saying that's true 100%... I thought I'd heard that. I could definitely be wrong!

I don't think anyone really knows. Hopefully ou going to the playoff opens up the cheez it bowl. Pokes probably wouldn't get picked but could leave the Az bowl open for us. This only happens I believe if Memphis and Alabama win today?

Memphis-31
UCF- 14

How does the AAC function without defense again?

And I thought the Big12 has defense issues.

From what I found, the Big XII sends their #6 team to the Cheez-it. They have 7 eligible, so even if OU goes to the seminfinal, the #7 team will move up to fill Cheez-it. Pac-12 sends their last team, so if somehow a Pac-12 team went elsewhere, that would leave their spot open.

Yeah I think we need Memphis to find a way to win, and the committee to move Washington St up in the rankings and get them an at large to the new years 6 bowls in addition to Washingtons guaranteed spot

Memphis is blowing it. So, will another MWC team get left out of the bowls now, too, since We're not getting that Access Bowl slot?

My guess is it is possible other than apparently Craig Thomson has been fighting for them unlike for us

It was a great last month of the season. We have a lot to look forward to next year.

Based on the projections I'm seeing I still see one potential way we still get in. Now this is completely pulling it out of the air, But I've seen where Boise goes to the cheezit bowl, and I've also seen where they go to the Armed Forces bowl vs Army. Now, with having two 10 win teams and wanting the best possible matchups, say Boise goes to the Cheezit, and USU goes to the Armed Forces bowl to have a matchup with two 10 win teams and give them a good matchup which opens up a spot for us. Highly unlikely wishful thinking, but it's worth speculating.

No go for the Arizona Bowl Nevada vs. Arkansas State.

Potato Bowl has BYU vs. Western Michigan, according to rumor.

Yeah so apparently there was some wheeling and dealing going on. Appeasing BYU to get them back into the MW? Excuse me.... :puke: :puke: :puke:
